I almost didn't go. When I rented the Tiguan I had rented it for 2 days, with the intention of going to 3 different waterfalls.
I was intending to drive to Hamilton to go visit both Tews Falls and Websters Falls as they are a 4 minute drive apart.
It's funny I noticed that when you are moving towards new things the ego freaks right out and you want to quit. I loved going out on road trips when I was living in Thunder Bay to discover new waterfalls, London driving is very different though. Learning to navigate the drivers and be patient through the construction...haha.
Since I've been on this path I've noticed that fear really does hold us back from living our dreams. So now I always ask myself if I'm afraid to do it or is my fear what's making me do it.
I noticed that the moments when I move forward despite fear, those are always the best decisions.
I made a plan and headed out on the road. I read somewhere to make sure you go to Tew Falls first, so that's where I headed. Admission into the park is $16 per person if you are planning on going and they only take card payments. The fee however, will get you into multiple parks in the area do plan for multiple adventures if you wish to make the most of your money.
A very short walk to the falls and the lower platform had a way better view than the upper one.

I, however, like to look around and explore a bit, so I found an even better view. I felt like Drake from Uncharted. This actually reminds me of a scene in one of the games.

I did go for a nice little hike up to Dundas peak. Beautiful view, with some hawks circling around and that was my cue to leave. Apparently, Hawks generally leave humans alone, unless they are protecting a nest. I did go past the distance in which my map was laid out. It's good to know that AllTrails the app will actually give you notifications when you go off trail. I honestly love the app, it shows you where to go, tracks your progress and let's you know if you go off course. I highly recommend it if you enjoy hiking, it's amazing!

Next up, Websters Falls! A 4 minute drive away and good thing it was my 2nd destination. No attendant at the stand and the pay station was broken. There was a few cars backed up when I got there. If you had a parks pass or a ticket to scan you could still get in to park, everyone else was S.O.L.
The Falls were a short hike from the parking lot and honestly I was exhausted already, with an hour and a half drive home to go.

Beautiful Falls, I can't wait to see them in the Springtime. Below is about the closest I could get, view from between the bars. You'll see when you go there.

This was a more sociable hike for sure. An adventurer, a photographer and a woman who literally just wanted to go to as many waterfalls in one day as she could. Haha. I told her about Tiffany Falls and off she went.
I love chillin by the waterfalls usually. There's something very calming about the flow of the water. Makes me miss all the ones in Thunder Bay I could actually sit by.
You start moving towards your dreams when you fully drop into your body and appreciate the beauty all around you ✨️ This includes nature, animals, waterfalls. Explore more...you never know where the adventures will take you.
