Birthday Adventures to Albion and Tiffany Falls

This was a manifesting abundance sort of month 🤑 I like to adventure to waterfalls always, and especially on Birthdays because it makes me happy 😊

This year I decided to look into a car rental BEFORE the actual day, and to my surprise, I had enough Enterprise points to get a FREE SUV rental. When I got there, they also upgraded me from a compact to a mid sized SUV...an abundant day already!

September 11, 2025

My goal was to drive to Hamilton and hike the Chedoke Trail 👣 which halls 3 waterfalls for the price of one. Google maps took me to the Chedoke Trail parking, which is up what might as well be a cliff from the actual trail head. 25 minutes of walking just above the actual trail and I decided to redirect myself somewhere else because I wanted to make the most out of my day. I did have a vulture fly right in front of me along my little walk, the highlight of that adventure. Seemingly more of a warning than anything 🤔

Luckily, I already had a map to Albion Falls, so off I drove. Albion Falls themselves are a short walk from the parking lot, very easy to get to and no charge for parking lot, which is great!

There are a few different lookout points along the trail, this one being the BEST in my opinion, which is the first lookout point.

The trail itself was beautiful! Perfectly sunny ☀️ with a nice cool breeze 😎 Perfect September weather.

I would say, a third of the way up the trail there is a 2nd waterfall called Buttermilk Falls. It's a pretty easy hike to get there and the shortest side of the trail...if you hike up the left side of the trail 👣

Not much of a water flow, but that's what you get when you decide to adventure when there has been little to no rain fall 😂

The Albion Falls Trail is a loop. I walked until just past the road, checked my AllTrails app to see how long the trail was and decided to go back the short way because I was too tired after the hour and a half drive and the 45 plus minutes of walking to nowhere 😂

There is another view point of Albion Falls along the other side of the trail, called Lovers Leap...in case you want to venture around. I say maybe next time 😋

I decided I wanted to see Tiffany Falls because I had been there before and knew it was a short hike to the falls. Wish I would have went there first because it was right by the Chedoke Trail 🤦‍♀️ Live and learn 😂 It was still only a 16 minute drive.

Tiffany Falls is a pay to park, it costs $11.50 CAD to park. There are 3 waterfalls along the trail. I have been to 2, but was not venturing up the trail today because I wanted to get home before the 3:30 pm rush hour traffic in London.

A short walk up the trail, along a little bridge and there it was...

To my surprise 🥳😂 I just want to put it out there, if you have read my Tiffany Falls blog post from Winter time ❄️ Notice the difference in the waterfall💧

Tiffany Falls in the winter had way more of a water flow then it does right now 🤨Boggles my mind. Lots of people came up and went out as I was taking photos 📸

If you want to get this close to the falls any other time of the year, best bring your rain boots, because there is usually way more water.

Definitely though, if you enjoy hikes, go up the the hiking trail to see the other waterfalls. It is the trail just up to the left of where you park.
