Redirected to Cascades Falls

I originally took this road trip to find Gorge Creek Falls, for the 2nd time, and couldn't find the path. Google maps took me near it, and I could definitely see the falls from where it took me, but it was far in the distance.

May 2nd, 2021...I drove around because the last time I couldn't find it I ran into a photographer who told me about another waterfall up the road. So I went on a little adventure. I found the falls...Cascades Falls, and it is a beauty. Definitely the most beautiful waterfall I ever saw. There is an open parking area right at the bottom of the hiking trail, plenty of space for multiple vehicles. The trail is very short, a 5 minute hike, but a steep one. If you ever decide to venture there I highly recommend a good pair of hiking boots. I love my Merrell Waterproof hiking shoes, they were perfect for this, because the closer you get to the Falls the more wet and jagged the rocks become.

No one was there, so it was perfect for me. I was getting ready for a finess magazine competition and was a little awkward taking photos of myself, so it was perfect.

I stayed there for a while. Beautiful view from the top and I love sitting by waterfalls. They are so calming, beautiful and like a flow of good energy.

An approximate 2 hour drive from Thunder Bay (my hometown) Orient Bay, ON in the municipality of Greenstone is this 132 foot massive beauty of a waterfall. There is even a trail to get to the top of this beauty called the Palisades trail. That was an adventure for another day and definitely a challenging hike. This beauty is definitely best viewed from below.
